I spent almost two hours (I never know I have such patient), sitting, squatting, standing around the little fountain at Bugis Junction, took several hundreds (close to a thousand maybe) of continuous shots of different kids just to produce this few which look quite ok. But not to the standard yet...
But I like shooting pictures on them, they're so happy playing with water! But they're too excited, running around too much, which makes photographing a very difficult thing!

Good control on lighting ! Keep up the good work ! Just be careful of the background. :D
what kind of control? u mean the ppl (路人甲乙丙丁？)? Or aperture, that my background not blur enough?
Light control is ok for these pics. Yes, the background 路人甲乙丙丁. But I know it's hard to "control" them, hence, *poison warning* a big aperture lens comes in mind. :D
OR
Since you have a long zoom lens, you can shoot with your most telephoto end with biggest aperture you can have; this may blur out the background as well as 路人甲乙丙丁 and makes your subject pop out from the picture, and make it more 3D like. :D
yaya it's extremely hard to control! coz the crowd is all over every where. anyway, this is the most telephoto already wor... coz i have to keep a distance away from the fountain, else i'll be WET like those kids too!!!!
i'll try next time. i'm sure it'll get better :P
